Specialist Support, Built Around the Person

Every adult we support is an individual first. A diagnosis or condition can help us understand what support might be useful, but it never defines who someone is. We take time to learn about each person's strengths, preferences, communication style and goals, then shape support that fits their life.

Our team works alongside families, social workers and health professionals to make sure support is joined up, consistent and focused on what matters most to the person.

Other Needs We Support

Many people we support have more than one need. Alongside our specialisms, we can help with:

Personal care: washing, dressing and grooming, delivered with dignity and privacy

Physical health needs: support with appointments, medication and healthy routines

Co-occurring needs: for example autism alongside a mental health condition

Life transitions: such as moving into a first home or from another service

Every Person Is Unique

Two people with the same diagnosis can need very different support. That is why we never use a one size fits all approach.

We start by listening. We learn about the person's history, what they enjoy and what they want to achieve.

We plan together. Support plans are created with the person and, with consent, their family and professionals.

We adapt as life changes. Plans are reviewed regularly so support keeps pace with each person's progress and goals.

Who Our Support Is For

Our supported living service may be right for someone who:

Is aged 18 to 64

Lives in, or wants to live in, Chingford or the wider Waltham Forest area

Wants to live more independently in their own home

Has support needs related to autism, a learning disability, mental health or an acquired brain injury

Has, or is seeking, funding from the local authority, NHS or direct payments

If someone does not meet every point, please still get in touch. We will talk through their situation and, where we are not the right fit, help point you in the right direction.

Not Sure If We Can Help?

Every situation is different. Speak to our team for an informal, no-obligation conversation about the support you or someone you care about may need.
