Support That Understands Autism
Every autistic person experiences the world differently. What feels calm and comfortable for one person can feel overwhelming for another. That is why our autism support starts with understanding the individual, not the label.
We work with each person to create a home life that feels predictable, safe and their own. Our team supports people to manage everyday tasks, navigate change and take part in the things they enjoy, at a pace that works for them.
Who We Support
We support autistic adults aged 18 to 64 across Chingford and Waltham Forest, including people who:
Want to move into their own home or a first tenancy
Need support with daily routines, personal care or managing a home
Experience anxiety, sensory overload or difficulty with change
Also have a learning disability or mental health need
Are moving from a family home, college or another service
We welcome referrals from social workers, commissioners and health professionals, as well as enquiries from families and individuals.

How We Support Autistic Adults
Predictable routines
We help people build clear daily and weekly routines, using visual timetables, planners or phone reminders where helpful.
Sensory-aware support
We learn what each person finds calming or overwhelming and adapt the home, activities and our approach accordingly.
Communication that works
We use each person's preferred way of communicating, whether spoken words, pictures, written notes, signing or technology.
Managing change
When change is coming, we prepare in advance, explain clearly and introduce new things gradually.
Reducing anxiety
We help people recognise what causes stress and develop strategies that help them feel calm and in control.
What Day-to-Day Support Can Include
Depending on each person's needs and goals, support can include:
Daily living: cooking, shopping, cleaning and laundry
Personal care: washing, dressing and grooming, with sensory needs in mind
Health: medication support and preparing for appointments
Money: budgeting, paying bills and managing a tenancy
Travel: building confidence on local transport, often starting at quieter times
Education and work: college, training, volunteering and employment
Social life: friendships, hobbies and special interests, in comfortable settings
